Premier Assisted Senior Living Resort Residence Launched In Klang

Pacific Senior Living residence amenities

Pacific Senior Living (PSL) has officially unveiled its first-ever senior living residence, Acacia, in the Royal City of Klang, Malaysia.  PSL is an emerging senior living brand under Columbia Pacific Management Group.

The launch was officiated by the Sultan of Selangor, His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.

Supporting Malaysia’s transition into an ageing society

Many nations around the world are transitioning into an ageing society, with Malaysia projected to become one itself by 2030. Add to this the younger generation’s growing focus on career, leaving the elderly with more living challenges than ever. PSL seeks to address these issues by creating additional full-board residences within the country.

The centre is located in the heart of Klang and within a short driving distance from Kuala Lumpur city centre.  It provides a ground-breaking approach to senior living lifestyle. The centre features a resort-like ambience, state-of-the-art medical facilities, and premium services meticulously designed for individuals aged 60 and above.

World Bank projections indicate that Malaysia will reach “super-aged nation” status by 2056. This means that 20% of the population will consist of people aged above 65 years old.

Located in  a former 4-star hotel

The Acacia premier living spaces make use of a refurbished former 4-star Merrida Hotel, which ceased operations during the MCO period. It has 136 rooms that offer comprehensive amenities, including a swimming pool, heated jacuzzi, BBQ area, an entertainment room (karaoke and movie room), billiard and mahjong tables, among others.

Acacia, Pacific Senior Living room perspective

“We have placed paramount emphasis on delivering holistic support for both independent and assisted living, especially for individuals grappling with issues like hearing impairments, significant limitations in their daily routines, and mobility issues.

“These are evident signals for the necessity of specialised care. In collaboration with Columbia Asia, our strategic healthcare provider, we are committed to ensuring that every resident at Acacia has access to exceptional healthcare and wellness resources right at their doorstep,” shift,” said Carl Nicholas Isaac, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Senior Living Sdn. Bhd.

Pacific Senior Living will also be introducing the Silver Club, an innovative day care service guided by dedicated activities coordinators. It is open daily from 7:00am to 7:00pm. This is to ensure that seniors have access to comprehensive care and engaging activities throughout the week.

There are currently promotional packages for 3 days/2 nights or 6 days/5 nights available. For those interested to visit www.pacificseniorliving.com.my for information.
