Fave, The Lifestyle Discount App

The average Malaysian spends up to RM700 a month on dining out. With that amount you could get a lot of things, but there are days where you have no choice but to grab a bite at the nearest eatery.

Plus, if you are working in a business complex, there’s that added chore of figuring out what to eat and where would be the best in terms of maximising your lunch break as you just can’t afford to spend time in the car negotiating a traffic jam.

Fave is an app that hooks you up with restaurants and other fitness services on KFIT’s platform at discounted prices. Simply download the app and sign up with your email and phone number and you are good to go.

Stretching every ringgit while dining out

IMG_7668Under the Home tab, you will see a list of restaurants categorised according to location and pricing.

Say, you want to have something under RM15 at a restaurant within walking distance. All you need to do is click the Nearby button at the bottom of the home screen and you will see a list of eateries ranked from the nearest to the farthest, which is usually about 1km away from you, still within walking distance for some.

For example, the nearest for me that matches my budget is a banana leaf rice and meat set at Kissha Bistro in Bukit Damansara. It is 0.8km away and the promotion is redeemable during weekdays, 11.30am to 3pm.

The meal is originally priced at RM17.40 but with the app I receive about a 20% discount off my meal tab and is able to enjoy lunch within my budget.

How about something cheaper tomorrow? At the Home screen just scroll down and you will find the Meals Under RM10 category.

If you like to know more about the app, Fave can be downloaded on iTunes or Google Play.
