
EPF Announces Dividend Payout For 2021
In a media briefing today, the Employees Provident Funds (EPF) has announced a dividend rate of 6.1% for conventional savings and 5.65% for shariah savings for 2021.
This amounts to a dividend payout of RM50.5 billion for conventional savings, and RM6.3 billion for shariah savings.
The dividend payout for 2021 shows that EPF is well on the road to recovery from the dire economic situation brought about by the pandemic, as this is the highest dividend payout declared for conventional savings since 2018, where the dividend payout was 6.15%.
