RHB Introduces New Mobile Banking App
RHB Bank Berhad has introduced a new app that will co-exist with its current mobile solution. The RHB Mobile Banking app, as it is known, brings with it an improved interface and user experience. Encouraging customers to become more “digitally active”.
The bank currently boasts 1.8 million active RHB Now online banking customers, with 500,000 of them active on mobile devices. RHB Banking Group managing director Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli says that the goal is to increase the number of mobile users to one million by the end of 2019.
Improvements to RHB’s mobile banking experience include the introduction of biometric login, enhanced transaction signing to remove the need for SMS One Time Passwords (OTP), notifications of upcoming payments, and improved integration with easy payment services like JomPay and DuitNow.
At the moment, both of RHB’s mobile banking apps will exist alongside one another. However, the goal is to ultimately merge the two over the next 12 months.
