Yesterday, Maxis announced the launch of their highly anticipated new 5G plans, which goes live today (15th August 2023).
According to the press release from Maxis, the newly launched plans were designed with the increasing digital needs of both consumers and businesses in mind, hence why the upgraded plans come with more than double the data for both 4G and 5G plans, including bonus additional data for 5G plans as well.

Our plans offer attractive value for all segments, with a focus on affordability and adoption so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of 5G,” said Maxis’ Chief Executive Officer, Goh Seow Eng.

Maxis Postpaid with 5G
Price : From RM79 – RM199 per month
Data limit : Up to 200GB (Bonus 100GB for 5G)
Other features : Unlimited calls and messages.
Hotlink Postpaid with 5G
Price : RM70 per month
Data limit : Up to 70GB (Bonus 35GB for 5G)
Hotlink Prepaid with 5G
Price : RM45 per month
Data limit : Up to 50GB (Bonus 25GB for 5G)
Maxis Home Wifi with 5G
Price : RM158 per month
Data limit : Unlimited
Other features : A premium 5G router for high-speed connectivity.
For the postpaid plans, Maxis also offers a wide range of 5G devices for individuals with easy-to-own options under Maxis Zerolution, an installment plan of 24 or 36 months with 0% interest.
