Malaysians can now pay their income tax using Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards as well as debit cards issued by banking institutions in the country.
According to Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan, the new tax payment method can be done through the through the “ByrHASIL” portal provided by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) at: https://byrhasil.hasil.gov.my/.
The move is the latest initiative by IRB, in collaboration with Maybank, to ensure that tax payments will be easier and faster, he said in a press conference.
