Malaysia Is The Best Country To Invest In

Malaysia tops the best countries to invest in list of 2017, ahead of Singapore, Czech Republic, Denmark and Poland.

In the 2017 ranking, Malaysia scored at least 30 points more than any other country on a 100-point scale.

The ranking is based on surveys conducted by BAV Consulting, a brand strategy firm in partnership with The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

The scores are given by more than 6,000 business decision makers on a compilation of eight equally weighted country attributes: corrupt, dynamic, economically stable, entrepreneurial, favourable tax environment, innovative, skilled labour force and technological expertise.

The ranking takes into consideration more than 21,000 survey participants from four regions to associate 80 countries, up from 60 last year, with specific attributes.

The U.S. News & World Report said Malaysia “is the clear front-runner in this ranking,” ahead of second placed Singapore, India (6th), Thailand (7th) and Indonesia (10th).

“The country is one of the top recipients of foreign direct investment, and its pro-business government offers a wide range of incentives to investors,” the site said.
