New cars were previously subject to 10% Sales Tax (ST) but that has been replaced with the 6% Goods and Services Tax (GST) since April 1. With lower taxes, new car prices have generally reduced. Like Volkswagen, their selected models see a reduction in price post-GST. But, how much?
