indah water

Many of us don’t think twice when we leave the tap on while we brush our teeth, or wash our vehicle every other day with precious water. However, without access to an affordable, convenient and improved water source can lead to a life of poverty and disease.

Malaysians are lucky to have been able to have access to safe and clean water at an affordable cost. But how do we really get clean water from our tap?

The process of providing clean and safe water to every household in the country is not an easy task. Not knowing the process and the actual cost that go behind this endeavour has resulted in Malaysians not doing their part in conserving and saving water.

In fact, in 2016, Malaysians almost double the recommended water usage by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Even when we were hit with numerous water crises over the past few years, our water usage has not gone down.

With Indah Water Consortium doing its best to provide us with clean water, a household paying RM8 per month, or RM96 per year, we are really paying for the peace of mind to have clean water so we can live a healthy lifestyle.
