We live in amazing times. With only a few clicks, you can broadcast a message to all your friends, apply for a job and even order groceries online.

It’s about to get better – you can now invest your Employees Provident Fund (EPF) savings online through i-Invest.

The i-Invest online platform allows you to invest through the ‘Investment’ tab via i-Akaun. This new feature enables you to invest part of your EPF savings in approved unit trust funds for potentially greater returns. i-Invest doesn’t require you to go through a unit trust consultant – instead, you can invest directly online.

However, this is just one of the online channels that you can explore under MIS to enhance your retirement savings. If you are comfortable making your own investment decisions, you can use this online facility to enjoy its benefits. On the other hand, if you have limited investment knowledge, you can seek advice from professional advisers/unit trust consultants or just maintain your savings with EPF.

What are the benefits of investing through i-Akaun? View the infographic to find out.
