AirAsia is revamping the AirAsia Super+ with a new price and travel plan; giving customers another opportunity to subscribe for free air travel – among other benefits.
The new AirAsia Super+ Unlimited ASEAN International Pass will provide unlimited air travel across the region for RM1,188 per year. An increase from the original Super+ ASEAN subscription in 2022 that was priced at just RM639, and more expensive than the world wide Super+ subscription of RM888.
To soften the blow, there is a monthly payment option at RM99 per month. Although it should be noted that this payment plan is only available for Ambank, HSBC, Maybank and Public Bank credit card holders.
From March 22-24, 2024, previous passholders can also claim an early bird discount using the promo code “EARLYBIRD5”, with an additional RM50 off for payments made via BigPay card.
The Unlimited pass offers free base tickets for flights between 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025. As these are only base tickets, you will still need to top up for things like meals, luggage, and preferred seating. Additionally, these free tickets do not apply to selected flights during holiday seasons, and are also subject to AirAsia’s fair use policy to avoid abuse. This includes limits such as having to book seats at least 14 days in advance and not having more than two active bookings at the same time.
Other pass benefits include up to 50% off Hotel discount rates (Up to RM50) for international hotel bookings, unlimited RM2 discount on ehailing rides with AirAsia Ride in Malaysia, and a one-time free airport ride to KLIA or KLIA2, worth up to RM80. Super+ pass holders will also receive 5,000 AirAsia rewards points when they sign up.
The AirAsia Super+ Unlimited ASEAN International Pass is available through the AirAsia website or the AirAsia MOVE app.
