Zurich also provides a Motor Takaful plan that come with value add-ons. This comprehensive motor takaful plan is Shariah compliant and had options to protect your loved ones as well as your vehicle.
Zurich Z-Driver Takaful includes:
- Discounts up to 10% if you are a low risk driver
- Options for self-pay limit (discount up to 20% with voluntary excess)
- Complimentary cover extension to unlimited named drivers for private car use
- E-Hailing Endorsement if you are an authorised e-hailing driver with a comprehensive takaful policy with Zurich
You will need to pay:
1. Service tax - 6%
2. Stamp duty - RM10
3. Agent commission -10%
Zurich does not cover damage caused by:
- Act of nature i.e flood, storm or landslide
- Illegal acts and under influence of drug or alcohol
- Criminal Breach of Trust
- Any other events prohibited by Shariah principles
This policy also does not cover:
- Your own death or bodily injury due to a motor accident
- Your liability against claims from passengers in your vehicle
You can cancel your insurance policy by sending a notice in writing provided that you have not yet made a claim. You may ask your Zurich agent or send an email to callcentre@zurich.com.my to get started.
