iMoney’s Malaysia CEO is responsible for managing iMoney’s largest market. A senior leadership position, the role reports directly to iMoney’s Group CEO. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of consumer finance, e-commerce/digital and operational management experience.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for overall country leadership with full P&L responsibility
  • Work with Group Management to understand market opportunities and competitive actions, in order to define overall strategy to deliver profitable growth
  • Develop, manage and optimise country budgets, including performing ad-hoc business analysis and making tactical adjustments towards meeting of targets
  • Work closely with Group Marketing, Product, Technology and Data to optimise day-to-day operational management of the business
  • Lead overall in-country business development, forging long lasting relationships with providers, and deepening the cooperation with partners to optimise funnel conversion
  • Build thought leadership and grow the brand affinity with consumers and partners
  • Continually strengthen the capability of organisation through hiring and development programs

Skills & Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience, with at least 5 years in operations management, consumer finance and / or e-commerce position, with proven track record in business building
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication in English. Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian consumer behavior, culture & digital landscape
  • Experience of hiring and maintaining talent in a range of broad disciplines
