{"id":66835,"date":"2025-01-22T16:42:37","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T08:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/?p=66835"},"modified":"2025-01-22T16:42:37","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T08:42:37","slug":"irb-lhdn-new-receipt-format","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/irb-lhdn-new-receipt-format","title":{"rendered":"LHDN Has New Receipt Format For Manual Tax Payments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Inland Revenue Board (IRB\/LHDN) has just <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hasil.gov.my\/kenyataan-media-detail\/?UniqueId=8b57c0ad-73a1-47d8-bd62-73e0213ecae4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer dofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recently introduced a new format<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for receipts for proof of tax payments made manually at the Kuala Lumpur Revenue Management Centre (PPTHKL) counters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the IRB, the new receipt format was introduced as a result of an amendment to the Treasury Circular (PP) PS 4.1: Guidelines for Government Financial Form Application, which was approved by the Ministry of Finance in October 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>New receipt format for certain manual tax payments<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn line with the mandatory use of e-Services for services provided online by the IRB from 1 Jan 2024, the types of manual tax payments accepted at the PPTHKL will now be limited,\u201d it said in a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HASiLMalaysia\/posts\/pfbid0ggtDbz76xkDCQeUxBPQer29cYNfwLsmsjMRT6qKW1stWeJk3uYzwYuemwvAcPVD4l?locale=ms_MY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer dofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recent statement<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Types of manual tax payments accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compound payments<\/li>\n<li>Income tax payments made using debit and credit cards issued in Malaysia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe PPTHKL will issue original official receipts and copies in the new format to taxpayers for both types of payments,\u201d the statement added.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Other types of receipts can be obtained via MyTax portal<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For payments not listed above, users can go to\u00a0 the MyTax portal.\u00a0 Select ezHasil Services, followed by ByrHASIL to get copies of other official tax receipts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also obtain copies\u00a0 of tax receipts at the following places: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>internet banking portals of commercial banks appointed as IRB collection agents<\/li>\n<li>Pos Malaysia counters<\/li>\n<li>appointed commercial banks<\/li>\n<li>cash deposit machines at appointed banks<\/li>\n<li>automated teller machines (ATMs) at designated IRB collection agents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Other receipts can be obtained via e-Lejar<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for official receipts for income tax and real property gains tax payments, they are under a separate category. They can be obtained under the e-Lejar display. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are looking for copies for monthly tax deductions and withholding tax, you can access it
