TNG eWallet now enables users to recycle used cooking oil and receive payments directly in their eWallets.<\/p>\n

TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (‘TNG Digital’) is taking its sustainability vision to the next level with a historic partnership with Arus Oil (My Protech Sdn Bhd).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This means Malaysians can recycle their used cooking oil (UCO) and earn eWallet credits at the same time.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Simplify recycling and reduce waste<\/span><\/h2>\n

UCO is often discarded rather than recycled, which leads to environmental pollution. As such, this partnership seeks to encourage oil recycling practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith this initiative, we encourage Malaysians to recycle their used cooking oil, earn rewards, and make a positive impact on the environment through our platform,\u201d said Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"TNG<\/a><\/p>\n

This initiative supports the creation of renewable energy and waste reduction. It also offering households and businesses some financial benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arus Oil began its oil collection efforts in 2017. This collaboration will simplify the recycling process and ensure that proceeds are credited directly to users\u2019 eWallets in real-time.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Earn eWallet credits and contribute to the environment<\/span><\/h2>\n

So users can contribute to a more sustainable future while earning a little extra on the side.<\/span><\/p>\n

Household UCO can be collected and stored in a glass bottle or jerry can, provided it is kept in a non-flammable location at room temperature. Users who wish to sell their UCO to Arus Oil via TNG eWallet can follow these simple steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Tap on the Arus Oil icon within TNG eWallet.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click on “Create Appointment.”<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Enter the necessary details and upload a photo of the UCO to be collected.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Arus Oil will contact the user to arrange a pickup at their convenience, with a minimum pickup quantity of 5 kg.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Money earned from recycling UCO will be credited instantly to users\u2019 TNG eWallets and can be used for any sort of payment. Arus Oil currently only operates in the Klang Valley. However, they have plans to expand its services to additional locations, including northern and east Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

    During the campaign period from 9 September to 23 September 2024, the public can also bring UCO to the Arus Oil Collection Facility at 30, Jalan Industri USJ 1\/4, Taman Perindustrian USJ, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor, recycle it via the TNG eWallet app, and receive a special rate of RM3\/kg.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
