{"id":60774,"date":"2024-01-15T14:05:50","date_gmt":"2024-01-15T06:05:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/?p=60774"},"modified":"2024-01-15T14:05:50","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T06:05:50","slug":"prasarana-oku-smile-pass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/prasarana-oku-smile-pass","title":{"rendered":"People With Disabilities Can Now Sign-Up For OKU Smile Pass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana) has introduced the &#8216;OKU Smile&#8217; subscription pass which offers people with disabilities (PWD) using its rail and bus services access to free fare incentives starting 1 February onwards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to reporting by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernama.com\/en\/news.php?id=2262360\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Bernama<\/a>, Prasarana had said that the activation and subscription for the OKU Smile Pass will begin as early as 15 January for all existing Prasarana PWD concession cardholders and new applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPrasarana will conduct a series of visits to several PWD associations, offering information about this product. Mobile registration counters will be set up to assist this group in applying for the Prasarana OKU card during the tour,\u201d read a statement released by Prasarana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This programme is a follow-up of Transport Minister Anthony Loke\u2019\u2019s previous announcement in December 2023, providing free fare incentives for the disabled community across all rail and bus services operated by the agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more details about the OKU Smile pass, you can visit the MyRapid website at
