Earlier this week, the long awaited e-wallet credit initiative eMadani was finally available for redemption by qualified Malaysians.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it didn\u2019t take long for Malaysian netizens to flood social media with complaints regarding eMadani, especially regarding rejected claims from multiple platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the main complaints was due to confusion regarding the eligibility requirements of the eMadani.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One X user tweeted<\/a> saying that \u201cWhy wasn\u2019t it made clear that students aren\u2019t eligible for eMadani? And if that\u2019s the case, why was student even an option there?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Another also tweeted<\/a> that \u201cA lot of people are complaining about their rejected eMadani claim. This is dangerous for the current government as people tend to hold grudges over things like this.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>What to do if your eMadani claim is rejected<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

If your claim has been rejected, your next step will depend on which platform you applied in. Let\u2019s have a look at what you should do for each and every platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Touch \u2018n Go eWallet<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re claiming the eMadani initiative through TnG eWallet, all you have to do is submit a request disputing your rejection.<\/span><\/p>\n

How you do this is simply by submitting a request right <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>, select \u2018eMadani\u2019, and select \u2018claim rejected\u2019 as your support type. You can also make the process smoother by attaching screenshots of your rejected claim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shopee<\/b><\/h3>\n

With Shopee, the process is quite straightforward. If you\u2019re certain that you meet the requirements, all you have to do is <\/span>contact their support team<\/span><\/a> to dispute your rejection. Just fill out the form and choose \u201ceMadani Unable to claim\u201d, and you\u2019re on your way.\\<\/span><\/p>\n

MAE<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re claiming your eMadani credit on MAE, then things might get a bit confusing for you here. Maybank\u2019s eMadani FAQs section is just a copy of the Ministry of Finance\u2019s FAQ document, so it doesn\u2019t mention anywhere how to raise a dispute with MAE in case of rejection.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, in their <\/span>terms and conditions<\/span><\/a> documents, it is stated that \u2018should you have any dispute relating to the operation of the eMADANI, MAE by Maybank2u and\/or Scan & Pay function, please reach out to Maybank Group Customer Care at 1300-88-6688 or write to us at mgcc@maybank.com.my<\/span><\/p>\n

So in this case, your best shot is to do exactly what is said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Setel<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re using Setel to claim your eMadani credit and your claim has been rejected, Setel urges you to submit an appeal through the Setel app, as written <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
