{"id":59400,"date":"2023-10-23T15:58:55","date_gmt":"2023-10-23T07:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress-my-161844363.ap-southeast-1.elb.amazonaws.com\/articles\/?p=59400"},"modified":"2023-10-23T16:00:19","modified_gmt":"2023-10-23T08:00:19","slug":"wavpay-omni-channel-wallet-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/wavpay-omni-channel-wallet-programme","title":{"rendered":"Wavpay Introduces New Omni Channel eWallet Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wavpay announced the introduction of a new payment programme, the Omni Channel Wallet Programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This new initiative will utilise Wavpay\u2019s existing eWallet service.\u00a0 The app will include a number of additional features including the facilitation of transactions and engagement with targeted users. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Digital-transformation-support-for-businesses\"><\/span>Digital transformation support for businesses<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The announcement was made in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit 2023 (SIBS2023).\u00a0 SIBS is an initiative by the Selangor State Government. This programme is one step in transforming Wavpay\u2019s app into a Super App that aims to enhance user engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wavpay seeks to seamlessly integrate financial management and payment features. This integration is intended to boost engagement between businesses and their users while also delivering additional value and convenience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Integrate-across-platforms\"><\/span>Integrate across platforms<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Omni Channel Wallet Programme will seamlessly integrate across various platforms. The aim is to grant users access to a unified digital, and cashless experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;With the introduction of Wavpay\u2019s Omni Channel Wallet Programme, we are taking a significant step in redefining the digital financial landscape to be more inclusive,\u201d said Brahma Shakthi, Chief Executive Officer of Wavpay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe are proud to be at the forefront of change, offering secure and efficient financial services and this feature introduction is a beginning to our journey of promoting digitalisation in transaction within our community,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Collaborative-agreement-with-Mydin\"><\/span>Collaborative agreement with Mydin<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wavpay has also inked its first collaborative agreement with Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin). This collaboration will embed\u00a0 the Wavpay Omni Channel Wallet feature into its app.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe are delighted to announce our partnership with Wavpay, a step we believe aligns with our commitment to promote further cashless transactions amongst our customers.
