<\/span>How can I earn AirAsia Points?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

First of all, to earn AirAsia Points, you\u2019ll need to download the AirAsia Superapp onto your device. It\u2019s free to sign up online or via the app. Once that\u2019s done, there are a few ways you can earn the points.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most straightforward way you can earn AirAsia points is from your everyday spending with AirAsia\u2019s range of worldwide partners from various categories including travel, lifestyle and financial services. You can also earn when you spend using our co-brand card or when you fly with AirAsia* (exclude flights operated by Thai AirAsia X).<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>How many AirAsia Points can you earn on flights?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Apart from that, you can also earn AirAsia points from base fare flights and any add-on services*, based on your AirAsia membership status and fare selections (Low Fare and Premium Flex).<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>How much is an AirAsia Point worth?<\/span><\/h2>\n

In AirAsia’s Rewards Malaysia support services page<\/a>, it outlines the minimum amount of points needed for redemption.<\/p>\n

In order to book an AirAsia Flight, you will need a minimum of 100 airasia points to pay for RM1 (MYR1). If you are using other currency, then it should be the equivalent of RM1.<\/p>\n

For booking non AirAsia flights, other airlines, hotels or shops, the redemption value is from 125 airasia points onwards. This will vary by category and subject to the individual campaign’s terms and conditions.<\/p>\n

Short haul flights will count towards these points but they differ by code<\/a>. One way short-haul flights or flights operated by AK, FD, QZ, and Z2 are counted as one (1) flown sector. Long haul flights operated by D7 count as two flown sectors. Flights operated by XJ do not earn airasia points.<\/p>\n

Snap & Earn is a feature on the AirAsia Superapp where AirAsia members can earn AirAsia points. <\/span><\/p>\n

All that you need to do is spend at selected partners in Malaysia simply by submitting a picture of their receipts. <\/span><\/p>\n

The partners who currently accept this feature include Santan, Resorts World Awana and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Do AirAsia points expire?<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, yes. AirAsia points earned will be valid for 24 months from the date of issuance. On top of the standard validity period above, BIGLIFE Sdn Bhd also owns discretion to determine the validity period for specific promotions\/campaigns which may be offered from time to time.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to check and see if you have any points that are about to expire, you will need to log in to your account on our AirAsia Superapp. Click on ‘Transaction history’ and select ‘View more’ to view your AirAsia points expiration dates.<\/span><\/p>\n
