{"id":58583,"date":"2023-09-15T17:17:30","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T09:17:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress-my-161844363.ap-southeast-1.elb.amazonaws.com\/articles\/?p=58583"},"modified":"2023-09-15T17:17:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T09:17:30","slug":"budget-feedback-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imoney.my\/articles\/budget-feedback-extended","title":{"rendered":"Budget 2024 Feedback Period Extended To September 22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has decided to extend the feedback collection period for Budget 2024, following favourable response from the public.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The feedback collection period, which was slated to end\u00a0 on 15 September 2023 has been extended for another week until 22 September 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a report from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.malaymail.com\/news\/malaysia\/2023\/09\/15\/finance-ministry-extends-budget-2024-feedback-to-september-22\/91015\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MalayMail<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, MoF has received over 9,500 responses from the public on Budget 2024 through the official portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the Budget 2024 portal, the general public are given the opportunity to give feedback or suggestions on what they&#8217;d like to see. This initiative is done so that the government will be able to collate ideas and get a sense of what are the chief concerns among Malaysians that can be addressed within the framework of Budget 2024.<\/p>\n<p>One of the major challenges that the budget is expected to address is the rising cost of living, which is exacerbated by the rising cost of essential goods.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Budget 2024 is set to be tabled on 13 October 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can submit your own feedback for Budget 2024 at MoF\u2019s official portal right <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/budget.mof.gov.my\/ms\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight:
