We still still have some charges to drive traffic to cheaper , safer and less fraudless methods. But there Will be methods with no fees. no more process#technologyrules <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/makingairfaresaffordable?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">#makingairfaresaffordable<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tonyfernandes\/status\/1156022351772782597?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">July 30, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Currently, AirAsia&#8217;s processing fee starts at RM4 and can go up as high as RM16. However, this processing fee is waived if the passenger pays for their flight with BigPay, AirAsia&#8217;s e-wallet application.<\/p>\n<p>The removal of the processing fees for card payments is in line with Bank Negara Malaysia&#8217;s announcement last year that merchants are not allowed to impose a surcharge on card payments. According to Bank Negara, one of the reasons merchants impose the surcharge is to\u00a0recover the costs incurred by them when they accept these payments.<\/p>\n<p>[<a
