Fun fact: Malaysians and Singaporeans just can\u2019t agree on the origins of the yee sang but rumour has it that it was conceived in Seremban, a town in the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rated as one of KL\u2019s top restaurants by the CNN Travel Guide, Oriental Pavilion will be offering their range of pork-free yee sang options for the Lunar New Year season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting from RM98 and going all the way up to RM168, depending on your choice of ingredients, diners can also opt to add an array of other ala carte sides. The restaurant also specialises in fine Cantonese cuisine, and guests can enjoy one of PJ\u2019s most popular dimsum feasts if they fancy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Super Tanker group has made a name for itself in Malaysia over the years. So much so that it is now known as the \u201cExtra\u201d Super Tanker. The impressively fancy name aside, Extra Super Tanker has made a name for itself with its takeaway yee sang sets priced from RM88 in the jellyfish and pear combination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the coming Lunar New Year celebrations, Grand Imperial is offering guests both the standard and luxury option for yee sang. If you are feeling opulent, you can opt to go for the shredded mixed fruit and vegetable yee sang with Boston lobster at RM380 for a half portion, or RM688 for a full serving. On the other hand, you can also get the standard salmon at RM118 for half a portion, or RM168 for a full serving, if you want to be thrifty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Priced at RM196, it comes with all of the ingredients you can expect, with the inclusion of one undisclosed secret ingredient that makes this a truly unique delicacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As per usual, you can also choose to add more ingredients to your yee sang, including Canadian lobster, jellyfish, abalone, and crispy fish skin, at additional cost. St Regis also offers guests the option to choose between a New Year set menu or the buffet; both of which are exceptional feasts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Said restaurant is the Yun House, a specialist Cantonese restaurant which has earned recommendations from Michelin. With dozens of freshly made specialties and mouth-watering dimsum offerings, a meal at the Yun House is definitely a feast to behold.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for their yee sang offerings, guests can expect an abundance of luxuries such as mantis prawn with black truffle (RM398 for a small portion), salmon belly with ikura caviar (RM238 for a small portion), or crispy soft shell crab with salted egg (RM218 for a small portion).<\/span><\/p>\n

For the Muslims who want to enjoy the wonderful taste of yee sang, the Golden Valley Chinese Muslim restaurant has got you covered. Golden Valley has gained renown for cooking up a delicious storm of Chinese dishes utilising Halal ingredients and cooking methods. All the great classics are there including yam baskets and crispy salmon skin, marmite chicken, chili crab, and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

Their yee sang choices are also reasonably priced, starting from RM58 for half a serving of crisp, fresh jellyfish and pear yee sang, and top out at RM228 for a full portion of fresh jellyfish, abalone, and pear yee sang.<\/span><\/p>\n
