Are you both transparent about your expenses, or have you been keeping your business under wraps? More importantly, are you financially compatible?<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you do <em>not <\/em>walk down that aisle until you\u2019ve asked, discussed and are satisfied with how your partner responds to these money questions from our marriage financial checklist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you asked your spouse-to-be these highly-important, potentially life-changing questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-baseline\"><input type=\"checkbox\" class=\"me-2\" id=\"q1\"> <label for=\"q1\">How much do you make?<\/label><\/h3>\n<p>Are you in the dark about your partner\u2019s income? A recent Fidelity study found that 43% of couples did not know how much their partners earned. About 10% missed the mark by over US$25,000.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-baseline\"><input type=\"checkbox\" class=\"me-2\" id=\"q2\"> <label for=\"q2\">Do you have any large outstanding debts?<\/label><\/h3>\n<p>Getting a clear picture of your partner\u2019s debt will help you assess if you\u2019ll be entering a union with a troubled financial platform.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"d-flex align-items-baseline\"><input type=\"checkbox\" class=\"me-2\" id=\"q3\"> <label for=\"q3\">Do you usually pay for things with cash or credit?<\/label><\/h3>\n<p>And If he\/she pays with credit, is he\/she always able to pay it off at the end of every month?
