Domestic flights on Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will see a reduced free baggage allowance from 30kg to 20kg, effective August.
The reduction is only applicable on Economy class for fares booked from August 1.
The revised baggage allowance was in line with other full-service carriers, and was implemented to ensure competitive prices in light of escalating fuel prices, an English daily reported.
The allowance comes with complimentary services such as 7kg cabin baggage allowance, meals and in-flight entertainment.
